Vikings, Burgundians, Cistercians, the Norse –
As genetics and archeology unearth sightlines into the ancestral role of women long buried in the distant past, the names Madeleine and Mary become increasingly poignant.
Join us in exploring the veneration of these names in the historic global community and the monumental contributions the bearers of these names well may have made to our current well-being.
Our last few research trips to the British Isles have increased our sensitivity to an important distinction that is as vital today as it was yesterday. There are those who build and those who destroy Europe’s ancient treasures. We see more and more evidence of unsung women who have been involved in the building process.
We hope that this short summation will provide you with another perspective on long-held views that don’t withstand the rigors of scientific analysis. Even as wars rage on and religious beliefs become more entrenched, an enormous question remains. WHY - whether conquering or conquered - why on earth kill the goose that lays golden eggs?
It's a vicious circle. Deception and brutality still work to destroy Europe as well as to blame the wrong perpetrators. We hope that examining myths that have been etched into our brains as reality will yield a better basis for proceeding into the future, and especially for our women and children. https://youtu.be/w_NBqttfznk
