Women in Ukraine and Iran are suffering the same vicious attacks as ancestral women. Men masked in religious trappings invade those who defend their freedoms.
Inspired by the Rameses exhibit at San Francisco’s de Young Museum, this short clip looks back along points in Egypt and Anatolia that many forebearers passed through on their way to Europe. The pattern here is the same as in Celtic Europe: early ancestors honored both their men and women until imperial Romans invaded their lands and enslaved them.
It’s time to put women back in the picture where they belong!
